Kane Is Able Chairman Eugene J. Kane Sr. Passes Away

SCRANTON, PA - October 14, 2010 – The Kane Is Able team is profoundly saddened by the passing of Eugene J. Kane Sr. He was 80 years old.

Everyone who came in contact with Gene knew what a special person he truly was. He thoroughly believed it was an honor to serve great companies and employ terrific people. He loved his family, his business and all of his associates and he will be missed by all of them.

Gene is survived by his wife, Joan, of 56 years and seven of his eight children. He is reunited with his son, Jack, who passed away in 1988.

The KANE code—Gene's code—will continue to guide Kane Is Able and help remind us that doing something kind for someone is the best way to honor him.
