Scranton is the lowest cost distribution location for Northeast
A study conducted by Wadley-Donovan Growth-Tech, a leading economic development and corporate relocation consultancy, found that Scranton/Wilkes-Barre offers the lowest cost distribution location compared to five other Northeast distribution hubs. The study examined all costs, including labor, real estate, outbound transportation and utilities, to operate a 1 million square foot distribution center, assuming 800 workers. The chart below summarizes the total cost comparison.
